The Best Reservation in Town is Now at Home with All New Kraft Mac & Cheese Restaurant Edition

#Pittsburgh, #Chicago, April 13th, 2026

Today, Kraft Mac & Cheese is serving up its first ever lineup inspired by the elevated flavors of restaurant style mac and cheese. Introducing: Kraft Mac & Cheese Restaurant Edition. As more people look to cut back on dining out 1 without sacrificing the elevated flavors they crave, Restaurant Edition gives home cooks of all experience levels the power to create their restaurant favorites at home with new bold flavors, premium cheeses, and new pasta varieties.

At a time when consumers are seeking sophisticated meals at home2 Restaurant Edition allows you to explore elevated cuisines without compromising on cook time or price. The new lineup offers quality at home mac and cheese that is convenient, deliciously affordable, with the same familiar prep of the classic blue box: just add milk and butter. Restaurant Edition is meant to mirror restaurant style mac and cheese in all facets but one: price. Offering 30 percent more food in each box versus the classic blue box, Restaurant Edition comfortably feeds a family of four for less than 1 dollar per serving.

Available in three varieties including #Parmesan #Pesto, Romano Cacio e Pepe, and Monterey Jack Caramelized Onion, #Restaurant Edition features 10 grams of #protein in each serving along with real, premium cheeses and unique pasta shapes crafted from a #durum wheat semolina blend for perfectly al dente #pasta. Each flavor was thoughtfully developed by Kraft Mac & Cheese’s culinary specialists and intentionally pairs distinctive cheeses with complementary pasta shapes for perfectly coated, flavorful bites that mimic the dine out experience.

“Restaurant Edition brings quality, affordability, and the experience of dining out together—all without leaving home”, said Sara Roashan, Associate Director of Mac & Cheese Innovation at Kraft Heinz. “Consumers crave restaurant inspired flavors, and we knew Kraft Mac & Cheese could make them more accessible without demanding a high level of kitchen expertise. You can treat yourself, your family, or host a dinner party with the simple Kraft Mac & Cheese format you know and love.”

After testing more than 40 flavors, three standout offerings emerged – each designed to balance bold taste with the familiarity of Kraft Mac & Cheese. The flavors were intuitively paired, and the pasta was developed to better cling to the cheesy sauce.

Parmesan Pesto is a fresh from the pantry dish that balances herbaceous basil pesto with sharp Parmesan cheese and Gemelli noodles. Romano Cacio e Pepe delivers peppery richness and #Pecorino #Romano cheese with Pipette noodles. Monterey Jack Caramelized Onion—a first to market mac & cheese flavor—balances the savory taste of caramelized onion with milky, mellow Monterey Jack cheese and Cavatappi noodles. Kraft Mac & Cheese Restaurant Edition rolls out nationwide this month for a starting price of 3.49 dollars per 9.5 oounce box.
